These are truly wise words both in life and in business. Giving thought to where you would like your actions to take you is the first step in achieving a successful outcome. If, for instance, you want your business to attract a certain type of clientele, then you need to decide right from the start who that clientele will be and aim your business in their direction. It is no good setting up a business that offers discount goods and services if you are trying to attract a wealthy clientele. The same goes for location of your business. And what about your decor, ambience and all of the other things that create your specific "brand". How should you choose your staff? Should they look professional, well groomed, speak well and be knowledgable about the industry you are in? Do you think these things are important to your target market? I do. So, my thought for today is always keep in mind where you want to "finish" and make sure you start on the right track to get there. It is simply too late (and expensive) to change direction once your business is firmly established.

Hi and welcome.
Hi and welcome to my blog. My goal is to help you to maximise the return from your business while minimising the stress levels all small business owners experience. I have owned both large and small businesses and I truly believe that small businesses can actually be alot more stressful for their owners as they generally need to perform a myriad of business tasks and often with very little expertise in business behind them. I would like to invite you to read some of the great business building articles that I have already authored and many of which have been published in national magazines. This is the link if you would like to take advantage of this resource. http://www.pamstellema.com.au/articles.php
